Solid Waste and Pollution- Silent Killer
This general articles is about of information of solid waste at Pakistan. It general info, but we should know and concern about this phenomena.
Aerosols effect on the environment
This articles discuss about aerosol. The aerosol spray cans today, while much smaller and more refined, are direct descendents of those original military grade clunkers. Use of the cans for consumer applications took off during the ensuing decades, until the mid-1970s when ozone depletion first came to the public’s attention.
As a result, consumer aerosol products made in the U.S. have not contained ozone-depleting chemicals-also known as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)-since the late 1970s, first because companies voluntary eliminated them, and later because of federal regulations. Clean Air Act and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations further restricted the use of CFCs for non-consumer products. All consumer and most other aerosol products made or sold in the U.S. now use propellants-such as hydrocarbons and compressed gases like nitrous oxide-that do not deplete the ozone layer. Aerosol spray cans produced in some other countries might still utilize CFCs, but they cannot legally be sold in the U.S.

This article is about the case study issue relating to (1) town planning to accommodate migrants in their places of destination ; (2) the sustenance of local livelihoods in migrants’ places of origin ; (3) sustainable management of the environment in the migrants’ places of destination ; and (4) a review of Nigeria’s environmental protection policy aimed at monitoring and sustaining the quality and safety of the environment.
Lagos provides a classical case for studying migrants and the consequences of internal migration. It is the most cosmopolitan city in West Africa with an estimated population of over 10 million persons inhabiting the metropolis alone (not the whole of Lagos State). Lagos is a melting pot and mini-Nigeria. It has all the ethnic groups fully represented albeit with the Yoruba as most prominent ethnic group. The city has a long history from its pre-colonization origins through colonial administration to becoming the commercial nerve-centre of Nigeria.
The overall objective of this project was to investigate the nature, causes and impacts of rural urban migration on poverty and environmental changes in Lagos and the places of origin of the migrants. Specifically, the project (1) investigated the factors influencing rural-urban migration in Nigeria and developed a functional map of the rural-urban migration to Lagos ; (2) examined the nature of poverty in both places of origin and destination of migrants and Explored the environmental impacts of migration in both the places of origin and destination ; (3) established a correlation between rural-urban migration and the rate of environmental degradation in Lagos ; (4) established a correlation between rural-urban migration and the rate of environmental degradation in Lagos and ; (5) highlighted the implications of project findings for development planning and sustainable environment in the Nigeria.

This article is about plastic bag, plastic bottle and reacyclables problem and solution.
This is become our problem now. Actualy we are already know the plastic bag unnecessary and destructive, so we can support plasic bag film recovery and as example in this article. I think in Malaysia, a few of shopping mall recently use a biodegradable plastic bag as alternative to decrease the problem.
This article also discuss about plastic bottle poblem and solution in America. Americans spend more than $10,000 a minute for something that is readily available for free: Water. Americans throw away 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour. It is because, bottled water is not a good, no healthier than a tap water, bottled water means garbage and bottled water means less attention to public system.
